Off to check out the PIA pigeon job from hell. Birds will NOT respond to the bait. Its a chemical company, and I am afraid there is something that is on the ground that the birds just will not eat fromteh ground in that area which is going to make trapping impossible. I have alot of money already invested in a job that hasn't paid me a nickel yet! More will follow as it happens folks!

One bat call the other day

I dunno why but they just wanted a price! Like I care to go into all the work that goes into removing a colony only to have them tell me all they need is "a price".
I aint giving them a "price" without looking at it.
I can do the job for free if I want but for petes sake will someone please try to understand I have to eat and pay bills just like they do!
I would love it if later on that day their boss called them into the office and seriously questioned them as to why they felt they needed paid to come to work...

Mandeville Trapping

Well, the thanksgiving turkeyday is over and the calls are coming in again! I had to pick up an opossum from the westbank of new orleans and now its an armadillo problem on the northshore!. I already have a squirrel job going on over there and I'll check that first. I had a squirrel problem in the past at thsi guys house and man they just seem to love it and I cant figure out why!

Have a blessed day

You know, I have a guy who works for me and every friday he needs (not wants) to be paid. We all go to work to earn a living. I get so aggrevated with people who hire us and then just decide that the cost is too much, long after they have already agreed - and of course after we have solved their problem. I started my company Parker Wildlife Control to help people with problems related to wild animals in their homes and or business. When I arrive they say the trapper is here! They sound grateful, and are happy to see the problem gone. Then they just ignore the invoice for weeks, I call and they say they never recieved it and can I resend it. I resend it, they say they never recieve it and money is a little tight, things got "turned around".
Whatever! Now I gotta be a jerk, and I can tell you I find that the hardest part of the job. Removing angry raccoons is easier. Trapping animals in hot attics in New Orleans in 97 degree heat is easier.
I noticed that folks who leave the msg "have a blessed day" to be the ones who dont pay their bills. Ironic, isnt it?

Trapping raccoons

Its that time again! Trapping raccoons with young is pretty seasonal and we are getting calls about baby raccoons again. We are also working on a problem at a local food-chain-store, I don't like to disclose names but the problem has to do with birds getting inside the store and doing some damage. We use a pretty neat trap, its very humane and safe. http://store.birdbarrier.com/store/items.asp?Cc=050&Bc=
Another thing of note this month is I am trying a much more agressive approach to online advertising, and one way is joining this organisation.
Ill let you know how it goes!

2008 Trapping

This first 12 days of 08' has been fantastic business wise. We kicked off the year with several jobs. One is for pigeons, several for rats, squirrels, racoons, and even bats! Not bad for the first week!
