Holiday Trapping

Wow, we had a great turkey day. I did some unusual trapping in New Orleans even for me! read on.
This year I did a lot of travelling only to return to my home and find it had been invaded by the neighborhood kids. They helped themselves to my soft drinks, brandished guns (probably pellet guns) and played around like animals. I know because I was secretly using my web cam to video the house while I was gone. I did some holiday trapping this year but it was quite different. The officer investigating it was also amazed at the kids and the fact that I had been taping the whole thing. I went a step further and uploaded everything to an online storage vault. That's the trapper in me.

I got some calls from http://www.parkerwildlifecontrol.com/ for the usual things this time of year, which is rats. I also got a call for a lady who has a pigeon problem that has escalated over the past two years. I also got a call the day before turkey-day about some raccoons, and as it turns out this guy is the son of my neighbors. They first found me online then at dinner they got to talking about their problem and then my name came up again. I guess that's what happens when your well known and easily found.

I placed 4 traps at around 4pm and by 6pm I already had 2. I hope that this job wraps up quickly. Trapping raccoons in New Orleans can sometimes be crazy. I have had jobs where there were over 21 removed and some that had just one who loved to rip up this guys shingles on his roof. Once the raccoon was removed the damage stopped. A lot folks moving back into New Orleans ask me how to remove raccoons. It isn't always easy but trapping them can be if you study their habits and use the right bait. To trap a raccoon first you need a good bait, and that's where the marshmallows come in. I like to use a special oil ( I cant release all my tricks.) that is an additional attractant, however in this case I didn't use anything I just used the marshmallows to trap them.

If your having a problem and want a little advice or are looking to buy a trap visit my site. I don't sell traps but I can recommend a few good ones. I cant tell you how to solve every wildlife problem you may have but you may just find that little nugget you were looking for!
